A research project designed by survivors of the Arena attack, which aims to advocate for improved & consistent services for young people affected by terrorism🐝
As today marks the 9th anniversary, we remember. Our thoughts, as always, are with everyone who was affected that night 🐝 #Manchester#ManchesterRemembers
Over the past few months we have been holding workshops with teachers from Southport, talking about how education settings can help support children who are survivors of terrorism.
Thank you to @NatEmergTrust@LancasterUni@IKEAUK for their support in facilitating these sessions
Our thoughts are with the people of Southport today and especially the families of Alice Aguiar, Elsie Dot Stancombe and Bebe King and all those directly impacted by the tragic event one year ago.

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the tragic incident in Liverpool following the Liverpool FC Parade on Monday, including those injured and the incredible emergency responders who stepped in to help ❤️
To support those directly impacted, our partner Community Foundation for Merseyside @CF_Merseyside, together with Liverpool City Council @lpoolcouncil & Liverpool Charity & Voluntary Services, has launched the Liverpool Spirit Appeal.
Every donation, big or small, will help provide vital support to those who need it most.
🙏 Please give what you can: https://t.co/NvRqUPa0at

We are delighted with the announcement from the Government today of wider measures to improve support for victims of terrorism. As well as a national day of commemoration. 🐝
A great meeting. Some positive news at last. An honour to be part of it, with some incredible people, not least the amazing women from the Bee the Difference research project @NatEmergTrust@LancasterUni
On this #Daily episode, @skynewsniall is joined by our north of England correspondent @kvittozzi from Liverpool Crown Court, and Dr @CathHill2, as they discuss how the Southport terror attack survivors and victims’ families move on after the tragedy.

From meeting volunteers in brilliant grassroots charities using #NETCoronavirusAppeal funds to support their communities, to championing the nine young authors of our #BeeTheDifference research, we’re so grateful for your ongoing support @KensingtonRoyal ❤️🙏
We were invited to the United Nations International Conference on Victims of Terrorism this week in Bilbao. We spoke about our #BeeTheDifference project, raising awareness of the impact of terror on young people. 🐝
It's #WorldMentalHealthDay & at the Trust, one of our charitable aims is to support the #mentalhealth of those affected by disasters.

Today’s events remind me of the importance of learning from previous tragedies and the long term impact they have if young people aren’t supported to recover… thanks to @NatEmergTrust and their network for this vital research we must all learn from….
