Y5 had a brilliant Forest School session today—working together, exploring nature, and learning around the fire.
Mud under boots,
rain whispering low,
yet in our circle
small bright flames grow.
Sticks crack, sparks dance,
warmth in the grey—
nature and fire
teaching us today.
🎉 **Happy New Year!** 🎉
We’d like to wish all our parents/carers and children a very happy New Year.
School re-opens **tomorrow as usual**, and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back.

Year 5 loved making Christingles today 🍊🕯️
A chance to reflect, create, and talk about light, hope, and generosity.
Proud of the care and thought they put into every one ✨
Year 3 have been creating their own plants from junk in English, and then writing about what makes their plant unusual. Some extremely creative ideas, and thankfully they don’t exist in real life! This is all from our module on the ‘Wilderness’ story book. 🌱🪴🫛
Year 3 have written a poem and a letter this week in our writing lessons, based upon our ‘Wilderness’ book. In maths we have moved on to multiplication. Geography is based on mountains, when does a hill become a mountain? In PE we are performing gymnastics! 🗻🤸
This week Reception have had a very busy week making their own fireworks and even being a fire cracker themselves. A lot of us spoke about how we saw the fireworks and how beautiful the colours were….. it was very loud though! 🎆🎇
Year 5 have loved dressing up for Children in Need today! 🎉💛
Thank you to everyone who donated — together we’ve raised an amazing amount for great causes, supporting children and families who need it most. Proud of our school community! #ChildrenInNeed
We’ve had a lovely day at the National Space Centre! 🚀 The children explored planets, rockets and satellites, learned how astronauts live in space, and were amazed by the giant shuttle. A brilliant day of hands-on science to deepen our learning about the solar system! 🌍✨
We’ve had a fantastic day so far at the National Space Centre! 🚀
We’ve explored real rocket engines, the giant Thor Able launch vehicle, the astronaut training zone, and displays showing how planets move and what makes each one unique. 🪐✨
All brilliant learning!!
