Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty, who had to be helped off the practice field today, is believed to have sprained his ankle, sources tell @rapsheet and me. The Raiders still are unsure how long he will be out, but it is not considered a long-term injury and the organization is breathing a sigh of relief tonight. Raiders declined comment on Jeanty’s injury.

@DissentOrDie1 Fair point. I absolutely agree he is overpaid and I think keeping Kessler would’ve been smart on their end. JJ/Kessler on defense would’ve been nasty.
In the scope of that trade though, using that lakers pick to try and build a competitive roster is still a win in my opinion!
@DissentOrDie1 You’re right. My initial search failed me, that pick is definitely in Memphis possession now. I would still argue that using it for JJ was a plus though!
