-Some Bold decisions Such as removing Rohit Sharma from the captaincy after the Champions Trophy, dropping Suryakumar Yadav after the T20 World Cup, and retiring Virat and Rohit from Test cricket.

-Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan were kept out of the team for two years due to disciplinary issues.

-3 ICC titles have been won during his tenure.

-He had decided to give Jaiswal a chance, so he would not select Rohit Sharma keeping the future of Indian cricket in mind.

-However, pressure was exerted on him due to Rohit Sharma's political connections. Now, he does not wish to extend his tenure because of the excessive interference.

It is deeply unfortunate that we are losing a chief selector simply because a player had to beg a politician, saying, "I still want to play."
