This is the husband of the woman who was killed and burned to death by some misguided youths in Mararaba Jos after they accused her of child theft.

The deceased was not a child kidnapper. She was an Islamic school teacher and a well-known member of her community. However, she was killed as a result of a lack of proper investigation and people taking the law into their own hands.

Sadly, in Nigeria today, if someone who hates you or holds a grudge against you falsely shouts "thief" or "kidnapper," you could be attacked or even killed by an angry mob without any proper investigation. Just a few days ago, a soldier was reportedly mobbed after being mistaken for an armed bandit.

These incidents highlight the dangers of jungle justice and the consequences of acting on accusations without verifying the facts.

We pray that Allah showers her with His mercy and grants her Paradise as her final abode.

May Allah grant her husband, children, and relatives the strength and patience to bear this great loss. Ameen.

Let me address your ignorance. Sheikh Gumi's elder brother, a son of the late Sheikh Abubakar Gumi, was kidnapped along the Abuja-Kaduna axis while visiting his farm. When the family notified the police, they were told there was nothing that could be done. They were told to just go and settle with the kidnappers.

Consequently, they had to pay a huge sum of money to secure his release. This was one of the reasons why Sheikh Gumi decided to venture into the forest to see how he could help solve the problem. The video you morons are circulating was from an interview during the Buhari administration, when the bandits were declared terrorists.

Stop these lies. Gumi is a victim himself. His relatives in Zamfara have been direct victims. He has done his share in trying to solve this problem. What have you guys contributed aside from your endless noise?
