We need to stop idolizing breasts and idealizing #BREASTMILK
#breastfeeding looks different for everyone. Just because the baby is not "on the breast" does not diminish the value of Breastmilk or the mother who gives it

When a Mom tells you she is tired/overwhelmed/not coping, instead of telling how to cope or this will pass or some other platitude that makes you feel better in the name of support, how about you actually DO SOMETHING TO HELP HER! She doesn't need empty words she needs help.

Yeah, okay you promise to share your life with them blah, blah, kiss, kiss...fine I can do that! But having to share my #snacks with them as well? Like, for the REST OF OUR LIVES?!?

I think when we say to prepare for a "Positive Birth Experience" ppl think we mean a natural birth, but that's not it.
We mean a birth where you felt listened too, like you mattered & you feeling like a victor not a victim.

If you or your partner are on the tall side/stockier build then of found your baby is going to be "bigger" than a couple who are shorter/smaller frame. Yet they will all be judged on the same info imputed on the ultrasound machine.
So don't panic 😊

Let's talk about the cervix;-
It is accepted that in labour your cervix will dilate to 10cm.

New knowledge tells us that, fully dilated is really 10 to 12cm.

Reality is, you cervix really only needed to dilate too the size of your baby's head!

The fact that T&T has such a massive customer service problem is the perfect excuse for people to smile with you & mask that they are not really seeking your best interest ...but hey, that's okay! At least they were nice to you!
