@beeper nailed two simple concepts in messaging app: (1) inbox zero; (2) a message to yourself is not a convo, it's a "Note to self".
It's sound stupid, or simple. Yet, few message apps have done it. I find it brilliant.

I use @beeper, which puts most of my 1:1 chat-style communication in one app. Much easier than navigating all the tabs/apps.

I regularly lose track of what platform I actually chat with those folks on. As it all just comes through the Beeper app, I don't mind it at all. :)
