An account for coding and game development things, still expect other related stuff
Main: @ZatchyBeeps
Pfp: @Nick_Kloppy
Can I go back to Windows 10 please
Alright soooo
I wanna start putting some use to this account by doing a devlog!
So uhhh
D 1: Did some better street tracks because the last ones were really bad (they were a flat image before lol)
Will get previews and showcases as soon as I get more "previewable" sprites rather than all the placeholder memes it has currently lol
Hopefully that will be soon
My least favorite part of this all is probably writing the whole idea and story
And that's not considering me having to *jump start" in order to actually write and keep writing
I'll most likely post concept art that I wanna share here and rt it on main lol
Also no I'm not using an old idea because I was denied to recycle it so that's why I'm starting from 0
Btw this year I might be more active in my development area as soon as I'm back to school, so this account is gonna gain activity
Not like I'm gonna be working only on my own game but I need to make one of two right now to graduate too lol

I love when in one day the intellisense stuff on vsc will work perfectly fine, but in the next day one of the extensions update and I have to troubleshoot for hours to get it working again
No it's still not working, I gave up and I'll just shoot to the dark from now on
I do get forced too to look for what would be my new game engine to develop my game on and I don't think I'll return to Unity
Funny that I heard that my university was gonna renew stuff for licences of Unity and have now backed out after this lmao
In all honesty even if Unity rolls back their decision on the pricings, they already lost the trust from a huge majority of their users and non users, if not literally everyone, so I can tell they will never be able to actually recover from this
Today we announced a change to our business model which includes new additions to our subscription plans, and the introduction of a Runtime fee. We wanted to provide clarifying answers to the top questions most of you are asking.
Yes, this is a price increase and it will only affect a small subset of current Unity Editor users.
Today, a large majority of Unity Editor users are currently not paying anything and will not be affected by this change. The Unity Runtime fee will not impact the majority of our developers.
The developers who will be impacted are generally those who have successful games and are generating revenue way above the thresholds we outlined in our blog. This means that developers who are still building their business and growing the audience of their games will not pay a fee. The program was designed specifically this way to ensure developers could find success before the install fee takes effect.
We want to be clear that the counter for Unity Runtime fee installs starts on January 1, 2024 - it is not retroactive or perpetual. We will charge once for a new install; not an ongoing perpetual license royalty, like revenue share.
We looked for ways to lessen the impact on developers, and provide ways to bring the Runtime fee to zero. If youโre using any of our ad products, Unity Gaming Services or cloud services, etc. please contact us to discuss discounts.
We are actively listening to and following your questions closely. Please review our FAQ (https://t.co/YOA8dvVdjO) on todayโs announcement. We also invite you to continue to discuss these changes with us on our forums: https://t.co/yG9GW4Hu3z.
