Rob Holliday

Beer Baseball and BBQ is a sports and occasional men's lifestyle blog. My name's Rob Holliday, and I cover the Mariners.

Jack Z got two pretty good-looking prospects for Bedard, I'm surprised. Makes up for the Fister deal, I suppose.

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

I think Jack Z might be a manic depressive. Put him on #miltonsmeds. Laffey had a few bad outings, but still deserves a spot on the roster.

[bPardini @bPardini10]

#Mariners are like strippers they get you excited lure you in and then take your money and shake that ass the other way.

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

@bPardini10 I thought he was a free agent, but an article said he was signed through 2015. Seems crazy to trade him if he's signed that long

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

@bPardini10 he's been fun to watch on a largely unwatchable team. still might be able to get him back after the season, but i doubt it

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

Z sends Fister and Pauley to Detroit. A desperate move by the architect of two structurally-flawed projects in a row ('10 and '11 #Mariners)

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

@blangfrd it's gotten too depressing for me to bring myself to watch anymore.

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

This has gotta be Peguero's last chance tonight. But then, I've been saying that every time he's played throughout the last month or so...

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

What's the likelihood Beltre's number 1 fan's got some bodies buried in the woods somewhere?

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

the fourth of july's over. I hope the season doesn't end up feeling like a bad fireworks display...

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

Season seems like it's #slipslidingaway. Jack Z only knows if Jack Z has a plan. His information is unavailable to the Mariner fan.

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

@Jamer555 how bout bats attached to big men on roids?

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

Time for the #Mariners to get out of the #chonezone already, don't you think? Let's see some effing offense.

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

A bad call on a check swing by baseball's only short umpire screws over the #Mariners and Pineda. Why are all umps like 6'5 anyway?4-0 Halos

[Jose Canseco @JoseCanseco]

Roids

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

Many of the #Mariners could benefit from a meet and greet with @JoseCanseco in the mens room.

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

@Jamer555 Maybe Brett Boone can still swing a bat? Meet with Jose, get back in the game.

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

@schuhman sort of felt like it, yeah. That Texas series could be make or break.

[Rob Holliday @BeerBBQMariners]

ouch. #TheDP gives up a walk-off bomb after shutting it down with the bases juiced in the eighth. #Mariners lose. Still in the #chonezone

[Marc @schuhman]

Pauley should be an All Star.
