Another night. Another resident doctor assaulted inside a government hospital.
At Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences (BRIMS Bidar), a first-year Medicine resident was attacked by 5–6 attendants inside the casualty while on duty last night, reportedly merely for initiating an MLC as part of medico-legal protocol.

The most disturbing part: there was reportedly not even a single security guard present to protect the doctor.

Can a young doctor be assaulted even killed simply because he was trying to save a critically ill patient?

Is this justifiable?

This CCTV footage clearly exposes how facts have been selectively and falsely presented in the FIR by Bar Association of Lawyers against resident doctors at SRN Hospital, MLN Medical College, Prayagraj.

Doctors on emergency duty were following standard TRIAGE protocol: treating the most critical patient first, as practiced worldwide in every emergency department. Instead of respecting medical protocol, attempts are now being made to intimidate and target resident doctors through pressure, threats and distorted narratives.

No doctor should face harassment or violence for saving lives according to medical urgency. Hospitals cannot function on influence, intimidation or mob pressure.

We demand a fair investigation based on CCTV footage, medical records and facts; not manufactured allegations. 🚑⚕️

This video Of #Prayagraj clearly shows the woman lawyer herself smashing the glass door of the trauma centre, while outside, false allegations are being made that resident doctors assaulted her with a blade.
Facts and evidence matter. Attempting to malign resident doctors with fabricated accusations while engaging in vandalism only weakens the credibility of the entire claim.

Strict action must be taken against everyone involved in vandalising government property and disrupting hospital services. Violence, intimidation, and destruction have no place inside a public healthcare institution.

A dispute broke out between lawyers and doctors at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital in #Prayagraj.

According to reports, a woman lawyer injured in a road accident was brought to the hospital for treatment. An argument allegedly erupted after lawyers demanded urgent treatment for their patient, leading to a heated exchange with doctors that later escalated into a major confrontation.

During the chaos, lawyers allegedly vandalised parts of the hospital premises. As news of the incident spread, more lawyers gathered at the hospital and created a ruckus, further intensifying tensions on the campus.
