@guardianeco Artificial breeding and mass importation of bee species from southern Europe are very damaging to honey bee genetics in the UK as well as other pollinator species that have to cope with these egregious honey farms.
Poor article: Baby Bees ?! and nobody is going to burn any bees.
@heidiskrzypek @JTgoatisland @NaturalBeeTrust@BeeKindHives Depends on local legislation, but there are thousands of wild hives in the U.K. why would you make nature illegal!
@pollinisation @JTgoatisland @NaturalBeeTrust@BeeKindHives Most hives have varroa. Trouble is if you treat for varroa and have hive packed together in an apiary you are selecting for varroa virulence.
@NaturalBeeTrust Like other freedom/log hives, this filled with a swarm in 2 weeks. Tree hives thrive without chemical dependency in the UK @NaturalBeeTrust
Bees have been with us since the ice age in the UK. Let's not confuse what we have done to them, with what they really are: wild pollinators https://t.co/nRKUzS2vNd
Dear all. Honeybees are not by nature commercial and are an essential part of a healthy landscape with wild pollinators! #wildbees https://t.co/41VAwGvPBi
