Our team at @BFDGhana collaborated with @WorldVision on a workshop teaching nature-based beekeeping to members of five Village Savings Groups from Afram Plains. The workshop aimed to give participants the skills needed to practice sustainable beekeeping and earn an income.
Last week, the team in Donkorkrom distributed seedlings to beekeepers in Supom, Adzasekofe and Mafikofe. There was great excitement about receiving them and the @BfDGhana team demonstrated how to remove the bags and plant the seedlings.

In Uganda, we are working to to redress the gender imbalance in beekeeping and to economically empower women. In the past few weeks, our partner organisation TUNADO have been putting on hive weaving workshops specifically for women in the Teso region. What beautiful hives!
