We received some presents this morning too from a Practical Cookery and HFT pupil - yes we could use as part of a starter on functional properties but I think I am really looking forward to the tasting part at break time!!

Today we had our first lunch time blather about the monthly learning & teaching newsletter! AiFL was the topic and it was great to generate critical discussion around what strategies we use in class and how we use Information from the activities to increase learner understanding!

As a school we are moving our prelims to pre Christmas so HFT received their Trick or Treat goodies to help them prepare! 4 way coloured pen to use when answering questions - one colour per stage to get it right!! Function, Fact, Opinion, Consq. 1 a day countdown!

Big thank you to the amazing team of S1 and S2 pupils who came along this evening to help in the Dept - it was so busy I missed the chance to take a picture! Great to meet so many parents and P7 pupils & outline the journey they will take through the department.
