Studying Australian native bees, reforestation and ecology ππ³π± @MayfieldLabMelb
Taking a break from bee identification to soak up some rays on a seldom sunny day in Melbourne, with some light reading about bee research based travel to keep me company ππ #beeresearch#beeidentification#australiannativebees
My first conference presentation! - 3rd Australian native bee conference. Thanks to the organiser Tim @SugarbagBees for forcing people to listen to me talk about bees for 10 mins. (sorry about the blurry slide - just pretend it has something really interesting on it, like bees..)
The 3rd Australian Native Bee Conference was a great success! Big thanks to Tim Heard (@SugarbagBees - left of photo), chair of organising committee & the one who did the vast majority of the work to make it happen! Pic at our @UQscience sponsor table, along with Forbes Saurels.
Great UQ representation at 3rd Australian Native Bee Conference. Highlighting the impressive stingless bee research at both UQ Biological Sciences and QAAFI. Many thanks to the organising committee especially Tim Heard @SugarbagBees.
The 2022 #AppliedForestEcology Scholarship has been awarded to Forbes Saurels, Honours student at @UniMelb. The runner up is Tsz Ching Christy Hung, Masters student at @Sydney_Uni. β
