@BirdsDerbyshire Cracking adult Med Gull at Carr Vale this morning, in almost full summer plumage, one Common Chiffchaff on the embankment on the way back.

@BirdsDerbyshire Nice one with the Cattle Egret on Beeley Moor, I suspect it was the same bird that was present briefly at Welbeck Raptor watch yesterday afternoon before it continued east. Siberian Chiff (and two nominates) still at Carr Vale this morning.

@Yarmouthbirder More. Of the 4 ringed three have been seen elsewhere in Finistere, Norfolk and Cambridge but I don't have details of the sightings and obviously don't know if ours was 1 of them

@Yarmouthbirder Hi. Re green ringed med gull I had one at Carr Vale nr, Derbys bearing a green ring ASS?. Prob same at Pleasley Pit on 3/1. Research shows it was one of 4 ringed on 16/6/16 on an island in Southern Sweden. Rings were borrowed from Germany.

@BirdsDerbyshire Red Kite east over Carr Vale this morning at 1000 and a Green Sandpiper first thing on southern flash until the first dog walker went through after which not seen again. Also a fifth brood of Gadwall, an extra Oystercatcher, two distant Hobbies and Peregrine.
