The longer AAC waits, the worse the situation is likely to become. While the sit-ins are aimed at securing a peaceful resolution and preventing further loss of life, the state appears intent on continuing a strategy of limited but persistent repression
The delay in advancing the struggle stems from indecision within the leadership and the mistaken belief that a resolution can be won through passive sit-ins alone.
A prolonged stalemate risks demobilising the masses, allowing the state to regroup, refine its #AjkRightsmovement

وطن کا چہرہ خون سے دھو رہے ہو
گماں تم کو کہ راستہ کٹ رہا ہے
یقیں مجھ کو کہ منزل کھو رہے ہو

Among the four people martyred in Rawalakot last night was a young man from a neighboring village.
His family is now enduring a second devastating loss, having buried another son in an accident just a month and a half earlier.

Someone finally listened. Caravans of women and children from Rawalakot and the surrounding areas have headed to the Dreak sit-in and have taken over the stage as well. #AJKRightsmovement
From day one, I argued that after the success of the Khaigala women’s march, women should have been consciously integrated into this movement. Their spontaneous participation in villages, confronting state repression, blocking roads, and at times protecting men from armed forces
Punjab Police have arrested students protesting against the crackdown on people of Jammu Kashmir.
Please raise your voice against this fascism.

Comrade Ehsan Ali released from the jail.
All Powers to Awami Action Committee Gilgit Baltistan !!
Onwards and onwards to Socialist Revolution!
This has been a serious political and organisational blunder on the part of the AAC leadership, and unfortunately it is a lesson that still appears not to have been fully grasped.

has already demonstrated a significant reservoir of popular resistance. No genuine mass movement can afford to leave half of the oppressed masses on the sidelines; women must be organised and incorporated as an integral force in the broader democratic struggle.
You cant tell from her cafe chic lifestyle that she has a feudal background and her uncle Mustafa Khar used to flog peasants. Her district Muzaffargarh has 35% female literacy rate. Her family has probably occupied Govt girls' schools https://t.co/gkic49W7mx
Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Convenor, All Parties Hurriyat Conference, while addressing the press conference, acknowledged the legitimate concerns of the people of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. However, he condemned the JAAC's recourse to violence and non-peaceful protests, stressing that killings and disorder are not the way forward. He called for grievances to be addressed through peaceful and legal means.
He also expressed full support for Pakistan's efforts in raising the Kashmir issue at the UN Security Council, General Assembly, and other international forums.
He thanked the Prime Minister and the Chief of Defence Forces for raising this matter at the highest level.

Calling it “solidarity” would be charitable. The social media accounts of these supposedly left-wing and pro-people organisations have been marked by deafening silence. Having built their careers and reputations by peddling the chouran of the peripheries, they now seem far
It's disheartening to see that civil society, pro-people and left wing organizations in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi are just posting solidarity messages on social media, instead of organising some solidarity protests.
