@allenholub Refactoring *should not be* expensive, but thing is, many ppl consider and call rewrites ‘refactoring’, which is where high cost might be incurred. If done right (iterative small changes), refactoring wouldn’t be a word that mgmt would even hear 😀

Also, I’d recommend Spock if you haven’t checked it out yet. I was reluctant with the framework initially, but it makes writing tests fun and BDD is also really useful during larger refactoring.
