Always learning, then sharing what I learn.
๐ See linktree for my methods and case studies.
James Lee (@MonetizedFuture) talks a lot about 'hybrid' sites.
Not just affiliate, not just ads, not just info products.
But all three.
More profitable, more sustainable, more resilient.

๐ This is what a 12-month E-E-A-T Implementation campaign looks like...... figured it would be worth sharing before anyone else is hit.
Like my client, if you didn't read the updated Google Guidelines (+ most importantly recently, the second update in December 2022!), you would be shocked when the ranking drops come.
My client's Shopify store in a YMYL niche got nuked after Raterhub visited the website.
A ยฃ1380 a day hi-end eCommerce store nuked off the planet overnight...
My client was left with the only option of laying off 5 staff with ZERO idea of where the next order would come from.
What did I suggest? An E-E-A-T Audit followed by an implementation plan.
๐ We ran the website through our 30-step checklist
๐ We created all the missing social profiles and pages they were lacking in which all the competitors that were still ranking had
๐ We built an author bio page and 30 blog posts
๐ We built Wikipedia links
๐ We placed 75 guest posts on high DR-relevant websites, all of which contained variations of his author bio to the tone of the website (all of which were thematically and semantically relevant to the search queries we were targeting)
๐ We built social signals en masse alongside interacting with industry movers and shakers
Is E-A-T or E-E-A-T, as it's now known, a direct ranking factor? No.
Do Google's official guidelines highlight the trust signals required to rank, and if you follow that AND DO EVERYTHING alongside awesome links? Yes.
Stop building your websites and businesses on QUICKSAND and build A MOAT on a solid foundation.
E-E-A-T audits work for EVERY WEBSITE and are a MUST if you want to stay ahead; in this example, these guys were lucky and are now thriving at over ยฃ3299 a day.
Why take the chance and wait for when the Google quality raters come? Why have you not covered the basics and looked at every ranking website in your top 10 to ensure you are not missing FOUNDATIONAL or, even more, critical LEGAL pages?

Disconnected from most online things - having a blast.
Anyone still typing content the 'old school' way?
@russegan_au Yeah for a non coder Iโve had heaps of fun with it.
Made a little widget to connect to external API and display live data (BTC price etc).
Get into a niche you know very little about?
I highly recommend you attend a workshop.
Did this two years ago for a website on soaps and learned a lot.
In 2-3 hours I learned more on the topic than I could have through Google searches.
Want HARO links from some of the biggest publications in the world?
Chris has achieved client links from Forbes, The Sun, NASDAQ, and Zapier this month already.

@thetafferboy Love this. Had a lot of fun today getting it to generate a few little code snippets (regex, html, css, php etc)
For non coders who have some idea what they are trying to do, but no idea how to actually code it, I think this will be phenomenal.
@shwnhll@TablePress @RichNichesRyan They can be configured for sideways scroll I believe from memory.
I think another plug-in popular with a few folk around here is Ninja Tables, might also be worth a quick look.
