@BrysonGray He didn’t sin, but…
And this was why the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because he was doing these things on the Sabbath. But Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”
— John 5:16-17
Hey, I enjoyed the conversation. I know that learning about the Law can feel like getting special insight into what most Christians miss, but I’ve spent some years digging into it and found that Torah Observance doesn’t hold up to scrutiny in light of the whole Bible. Old and New Testament. I put together an overview called Torah Under Christ. It’s all Bible. Not about accusing people, just getting our theology from the whole story Scripture tells. Hope you enjoy it.

There are six things that the LORD hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers.
— Proverbs 6:16-19
Just a couple weeks after I finished my deep dive into Hebrews and how it refutes Torah observance theology, Caleb Hegg on @MessiahMatters had a question come in about Jesus' priesthood that brought about some interesting discussion of Hebrews. Lord willing I plan to do some work with that episode tomorrow night.
