Are there any tales of local hauntings in your area? Could you #JustCall a loved one and ask them?

Remember, remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot... (and fancy dress, apparently!)
If you're participating in any revelry tonight, be safe!
#OnThisDay in 1949, #Cwmbran was designated a New Town. When the Cwmbran Development Corporation met for the first time, they aimed to create “a happy community, living well together and with an understanding and friendship that would enrich the lives of all.”

Befriending doesn't just benefit the service user, it can have a profound impact on the befriender too.
Today's #BefriendingWeek case study from Monifieth Befrienders tells the story of Dennis and Geoff, whose befriending match has been meaningful for everyone involved, including Geoff's family.
Read and listen to the full case study: https://t.co/XkjMDWTpzr
Dennis is 54 and has been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD). He speaks freely about his condition and receives support from various organisations for his own problems. He has experienced how helpful this could be and decided to become a befriender with Monifieth Befrienders.
Dennis was matched with Geoff, who is 72 years old and living with dementia. Over time, Dennis has experienced changes as a result:
"My self-worth has increased and my self-esteem is high since I have been befriending Geoff. I now feel confident and healed inside.”
The match has had a huge impact on Geoff and his family too. Geoff’s wife Mary is grateful to Monifieth Befrienders:
“Geoff is more relaxed after being with Dennis, he has a smile on his face and he is wanting to tell me what they have done together… Geoff is disappointed if illness or another appointment interferes with the weekly meetings”
A year ago, Mary seemed to do everything for Geoff, like zipping up his jacket, but now Geoff is coping and becoming more independent. When Geoff says, “I cannot do this”, Dennis says, “Try it.”
