Behind the Scenes: African Teams Convene in Kampala 🇺🇬
This week, the Behind the Scenes project teams are gathered in Kampala, Uganda, to advance critical research and advocacy efforts for young female creatives across Africa’s creative sector.
Researchers and youth from 7 African countries are:
🔹 Finalizing draft country and cross-country reports
🔹 Co-developing policy briefs to inform decision-making
🔹 Refining video scripts to support knowledge dissemination
🔹 Collaborating on strategies to drive workplace and policy reforms
This collective effort is a step toward stronger, evidence-based action for gender equity in the creative economy.
