Former NFL veteran Aldon Smith has died, the #49ers have announced. Horribly sad.

Breaking: I’m being told that former 49ers defensive end, Aldon Smith has passed away at 36 years old.

A source tells me he arrived DOA at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, California.

#Raiders HC Klint Kubiak says the team is "really counting on" LT Kolton Miller, who told reporters "I feel really good" after missing 13 games last season with a severe high-ankle sprain.

Kubiak: “Very important (that Miller has participated in OTAs.) Our training staff has done a phenomenal job of progressing him. He is running with the first team, getting quality reps, and I think he is ahead of schedule. He is a competitive guy."

Miller, 30, played all 17 games in 2024 after missing four in 2023 with a shoulder injury. He's the NFL's 9th-highest-paid left tackle after inking a 3-year, $66M ($22M AAV) extension last summer.

Aidan O'Connell set up an FG attempt after he completed a deep pass to Shedrick Jackson, even though the throw appeared to have been intended for Dareke Young.

Mendoza completed a 30-yard pass to Malik Benson to set up a field goal attempt.
