Some people are complaining about the casting choices in "The Odyssey" interfering with suspension of disbelief. C'mon, there's a Cyclops in the movie! So if that's not unrealistic, how is the 5 second scene where Donald Trump walks through shaking the Suitors' hands unrealistic?

There's a lot going on there. I believe marriage can be a good thing, but spreading the benefits of marriage would likely increase not only the number of bad outcomes, but also it's ratio.

On the other hand, reatricting marriage only to the cream of the crop would produce the kind of stats Wilcox likes to gloat about without ever acknowledging the tradeoffs.

Agree. Maybe I'm biased, but I think most world cup team's playstyle remind me of either Barcelona's or Real Madrid's, the greatest Champion's League rivalry of the last two decades. Brazil was trying to play like Real Madrid, which is understandable if we consider we had Vinicius Junior as our best player.
