@howlinghowler_ After a period of infertility, my wife got pregnant shortly after visiting his grave (before he was brought to the Cathedral) and asking for his intercession.
@ladyloodeeloo We have never found a *single* curriculum that works for us across the board.
Rather, we've tried different things, and we've settled on different things for different kids and different grade levels. So, a sort of Frankenstein approach.
The Passover is not a Tabernacle/Temple ritual, which is the context of that portion of Hebrews. When blood is *used*, and not simply drained, it is used to purify, and that is the case for every ritual that *uses* blood.
The blood in the first Passover was to mark out people as Israelites, to make a distinction between them and the Egyptians. That way, when Egypt and its gods were judged, those who were marked out as Israelites were not subject to that judgment. That is not a Levitical Tabernacle/Temple ritual.
@paulg The most qualified kids should interview to be my kids, and my biological kids should understand the need for competition and that they shouldn't take their status for granted.
