What's this? A brand new journal dedicated to the study of Young Adult Literature building from last year's @BeingHumaninYA conference? To be edited by @alisonwaller, @EmilyCorbett11 and @amylouwai?
Our first issue will be available later this year. It features articles from leading scholars in the field which discuss the current state of YA literature studies AND a special section which continues important dialogues originating in the @BeingHumaninYA symposium.
Looking for something to read this #lockdown, why not try Beyond the Blockbusters, co-edited by the brilliant @DrFitzPhD & @CaseyAlane?!
It's a fab collection offering a V needed look at YA beyond the apocalyptically popular. Yes, YA's more than Twilight! ๐คญ

I have somehow purchased an extra copy of @theFoxFisher & @UglaStefania 'Trans Teen Survival Guide' in the process of buying PhD books.
If anybody knows of a young person who'd benefit from the other copy, I'm happy to post anywhere in the UK (for free)! #trans
I'm curious - who's teaching YA to undergraduates in the UK and Ireland this coming academic year? Anyone? Anywhere? Are you doing a full YA module or including it within a wider topic? #ResearchQuestion@YALMCa_#AcademicTwitter#YAit
What's the most interesting/exciting/thought-provoking/insightful YA lit scholarship you've read recently?
