"I think Mental Health Awareness Month should be every month."
@SavageSevv kicks off Mental Health Awareness Month talking about the importance of opening up and focusing on your mental health
I've started to work on my co-dependency issues and it's making me sad to see how often I put my needs aside or allow myself to be uncomfortable in order to cater to the needs and wishes of others. In all areas of my life. Even with strangers.
But it's good for me to see it.
Many with severe depression don't have suicidal thoughts but many of us have something less dangerous, but still significant. We devalue our survival. Depression's weight leaves us with a 'meh' attitude about our lives. Maybe dinosaurs were depressed? Anyone agree?

To you, the person reading this, the person struggling to carry on, I know you’re tired, I know your physically and emotionally drained....
You have to keep going.
I want you to believe in yourself.
Make yourself a priority.
Look after yourself
Your story isn’t over.
@mdrc0508 Taking care of myself has been a major learning process for me, especially in the last 5 years. I still have a lot of work to do, but I’m getting better at it. Right now, it’s just sleeping when I can. Lol.
Thank you Stan Lee for the adventures of your life. You simultaneously kindled our imaginations while showing us new mythos and parables through your stories.
RIP Stan Lee
