VIDEO | "We have flattened the entire first line of villages in southern Lebanon, all the houses have been destroyed. The residents will never see them standing ever again."
In a stark acknowledgment of systemic ethnic cleansing, Israeli War Minister Israel Katz boasted on Friday that the Israeli military has completely obliterated the entire first tier of Lebanese border villages.
Framing the mass destruction as a permanent "security zone", Katz explicitly declared that the 200,000 displaced Lebanese residents "are not returning."
In Gaza, Israel burned both people and land with white phosphorus while much of the world looked away.
Today, the same scenes are unfolding in Lebanon before the eyes of the world, yet meaningful action remains absent.
Most media fail to mention rockets are not launched from Beirut. Therefore, when Israel strikes this densely populated capital city that contains no actual military threat, it’s making crystal clear an intent to strike a civilian population. That’s terrorism by any definition.
Hospitals and apartment blocks are never legitimate military targets, no matter who lives there or passes by. Even then, there is no reason to believe the target is anything beyond civilian life.
BREAKING:
Israel is dropping bombs near Jabal Amel hospital in Tyre — striking residential buildings packed with civilians.
These are not military targets.
They are homes. A hospital vicinity.
The scenes are horrifying.
98% of documented white phosphorus attacks in south Lebanon — tracked at https://t.co/mOlntcJMNo — fall within the IDF-declared "Forward Defense Zone." The zone Israel now claims as a military buffer is the same territory it systematically struck with that munition.
Israel's occupation zone in Lebanon coincidentally absords Lebanon's Qana gas field, previously estimated to contain up to 100 billion cubic meters of gas, with projected value estimates ranging from $20 to $ 40 billion. https://t.co/En5W5gwW3O
That’s the building that was just collapsed like a pancake. It sits off an alley mainly occupied by scooter riders (kids/young men) who frequent the little corner cafe. There was a documentary made about their tough lives and the little respite they get from joyrides, hanging out
I have been deliberately silent on social media for a while. I use all my social media platforms to promote education & make dreams come true for young minds. I rarely post anything about family or politics.
This morning, Israel demolished the building I have an apartment in. It took 22 years of my work here & 20 years of my wife’s work to own this apartment. This madness has to stop.
“We don’t even have 1000 lira (2 cents)” says mother seeking refugee in Dekwaneh public school lobby. No food, water or medical care provided-not even tents for privacy, displaced say. Call for donations. The Lebanese state has no ability to deal with a humanitarian crisis.
The US-Israeli war on Lebanon didn't stop -- not even for a single day -- since the cessation of hostilities agreement was signed in Nov 2024.
Thousands of violations, incursions, occupation, targeting of civilian infrastructure, and on & on.
So how exactly did Hezbollah start this war?
How Western media manufactured consent for the Israeli invasion of Lebanon. Most correspondents transmitted Israeli military talking points without question claiming Hezbollah was preparing to invade northern Israel, instead of the other way around. https://t.co/YJoEtr5ilu

On Beirut municipal elections day, what use to be benches is now turned into pots for plants.
This city is very aggressive;
Pushing people to either consume (siting in restaurant) or abandon it altogether!
In this episode, a Lebanese academic claims it is “very simple” for the army to seize control of the country and establish sovereignty. But another guest asks, who will guarantee that sovereignty? Certainly not the ruling powers that have backed Israel https://t.co/rCyZHnpEQ3
