If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
Went to help in the Lake Lure/Chimney Rock area today, and it’s hard to describe - never seen anything like this. Post apocalyptic. It’s so overwhelming you don’t even know how to fathom what recovery looks like, let alone where to start. Going to be a long path to recovery that all levels of stakeholders are going to be needed.
Ever since I got married my husband has been trying to convince me to be a Panthers fan. I have been torn between the Chiefs and the Panthers, but I think Taylor casted the deciding vote. #ChiefsKingdom Thanks Tay.
But also, don’t get me started on the SIX DOLLARS I paid for my SMALL MOCHA. I’m appalled. And I feel betrayed by my heart for craving a white chocolate mocha. 🫠
Just went to Starbucks for a coffee; I’m pretty sure the guy handing me it said “have a greasy day!” Is this a new phrase, or did I just hear him wrong? HAHA
Nothing like crying at work bc you were chatting with your coworkers about your infertility and they say “it’ll happen when it’s right”
I know you mean well, but that is not guaranteed. It very well may never happen. I hate that this is a thing.
It’s sad that I work for a company (or that companies like this still exist) where I remind myself DAILY to be the bigger person/turn the other cheek, to treat people how I want to be treated & not how they treat me.
& I’m not referring to my coworkers, but to upper management.
