Congratulation to Emma Massasa for winning the poster prize in Technion energy program research day. Want to know more about buckling in perovskite nanobelts? see below
that this buckling affects the physical properties of the material through SEM-CL, thus showing the importance of capillary and adhesion forces on future applications
Congrats Emma for publishing this awesome paper! CsPbBr3 Nanobelts can buckle! We showed that perovskite nanobelts buckle at the nanoscale by using TEM and AFM. We matched a simple mechanical model to describe the structural deformations and showed

Congratulation to Shai Levy and the gang for publishing the paper: The Role Silver Nanoparticles Plays in Silver-Based Double-Perovskite Nanocrystals. We used plasmonics and found that Double-Perovskite NCs grow on Ag NPs. https://t.co/YLvgjoZ714
This is indeed fundamental interaction but quite challenging to actually make. Also, the measurement itself is in very high resolution which reveals the quantum nature of it.
Congratulation for our Technion colleagues from Kaminer's Lab (and Orr from our lab) for publishing this paper https://t.co/cHZqQV9xNy. They mange to measure strong interaction between electron and light pulse in free space.
ברכות לד"ר יהונדב בקנשטיין מהפקולטה למדע והנדסה של חומרים שזכה ב- ERC Starting Grant – מענקי האיחוד האירופי לסגל אקדמי צעיר. כל הכבוד!

How does light emission from nanoplates perovskite quantum dots changes when it's embedded in a polymer waveguide?

Professor Ido Kaminer brings you inside the Robert and Ruth Magid Electron Beam Quantum Dynamics Lab, home of an ultrafast transmission electron microscope that made it possible to see how light flows inside a tiny photonic crystal. https://t.co/R77AUlEv9p
