It was about him honoring God that struck me. But if you think God doesn’t have leaders carry out battles against evil regimes, you may want to reread the Bible, especially 1st and 2nd Samuel as well as the Chronicles. BTW, that action wasn’t “starting a war”. There is a much bigger thing going on here than far too many people are seeing, something I believe God is doing in all this.

Definitely government employees seem to have too many days off. However, non-governmental companies, businesses, etc. don't operate that way. In fact, many jobs require people to work on holidays. I have spent many holidays working instead of with my family, so holiday time off is a precious thing to me.
