I send my dad airtime every weekend. I started it randomly and then it became a routine.

He loves to make calls and always spends money on airtime. I took it upon myself to recharge his line every Sunday.

I was surprised I called one of his friends today for something and he told me how my dad says come rain come shine, Mercy must send airtime every week, that I’ve been consistent for years and how proud he is.

I melted, something as little as that gives this man this joy?
