Today, Belarusians around the world mark Freedom Day — the anniversary of the 1918 proclamation of the Belarusian People's Republic.

This day has become a symbol of Belarus’ fight for independence, dignity, and democracy.

About 800,000 Jews were murdered in Belarus starting in 1941
We are obliged to pass on the memory of what happened to future generations, especially in places where anti-Semitism becomes a state narrative.

At the moment, with the help of the Association of Belarusians of America and with the support of the I Need Help BY fund, it was possible to help a pensioner and a watered woman. a refugee from Grodno to buy tickets to Poland.

We continue to work to find ways to home.

Today are exactly 3 years since ULADZISLAU KARETSKI was detained on August 13, 2020 and has been in custody untill this moment.
IHAR YARMOLAU and MIKALAI SASEU were detained and got the same accusation as well as DZMITRY KANAPELKA.

ULADZISLAU was charged under Part 1 of Article 13 and Part 2 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code (the preparation for mass riots) and Part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code (the other preparation of persons to involve to participate in mass riots).

The Court decision: 5 years of detention in a colony

In March 2023, a trial was held in Novopolotsk, as a result of which ULADZISLAU's detention regime was changed to prison. Later he was transferred to Mogilev Prison No. 4.
