@Leg_It Hi Alan, long time since Arvon days. I still remember your piece of writing about the kid in the pushchair, infront of horse racing on TV!๐
I tried to buy your book in Waterstones and WHS but I guess Ineed to try a 'good bookstore'. Sounds great.
@ChristinaBanach@nhsfife Happy New year Christine.Great news about your health. From the moment you let me have your ticket to the SCBWI conference, I have been working away and today am celebrating with the completion of my first draft of a YA historical fiction adventure. May 2020 be great for you.
@mikegayle And best wishes to you Mike for getting some of us started on the 'writing road' at Arvon, Shrops. Hope the next decade is also a very fruitful one.
So sad to hear of the passing of Dr David Bellamy, an eminent broadcaster of environmental issues. I worked with him once, such a privilidge. The popularity of environmentalism is largely down to him and David Attenborough.
Just finished #Snegurochka. by Judith Heneghan. What a great atmospheric story. Really good read. If you haven't been to Kiev, you can experience it second hand as a mother in an alien environment surrounded by sinister goings-on. No spoilers, just enjoy the read, I did.
