Have you seen this to be true in your experience?
How have bigger risks helped your students?
Can you see a diff in the risks they are willing take from the beginning of the year vs to later on if trust is there?

Growth mindset isn't just saying, "you should have it, it is great!" then you do. It takes time and effort for it to become a true belief. Permitting is permission. If you allow fixed statements in your room, a fixed mindset will continue. Model for them, make it a habit for all!
@KadyMaresh My reflection: We have to believe in our students. We need to remember to give them as many opportunities and experiences we can because we don't know which one is going to change their life. As educators we impact the future, we impact kids. Don't sell them short #KidsDeserveIt

Sometimes, it’s important for kids to see their teacher make mistakes… to see them modeling the process of overcoming failure.
And as a bonus... your vulnerability makes you a bit more human... which always makes you more relatable.
