The police and prison service are examples of organisations that never listen to criticism properly, so that is why they always make the same mistakes.
I’ve seen good & bad officers in prison. Many are simply trying to do their job. But some watch terrible things happen, say nothing & leave at the end of the day. To them let me say: “You are a witness to inhumanity – if not you, who – is going to change the chaos?”
Fear is often inflicted by the lies and false realities that the enemy speaks but when we combat those lies with the truth of Gods word, we won't be overcome!
The devil will always remind you about your past failures and sins. You remind the devil that you are washed by the Blood of Jesus and his future destination is in the lake of fire. 😇
Trying to find a place to rent after incarceration is an uphill battle. You must have good credit, a job history and even after getting through those hurdles, when they discover you've been incarcerated, the answer is “hell no.” Homelessness is a real possibility.
Similar to how the rib cage protects the physical heart, God also wants you to guard your spiritual heart. You use it to connect with others!

When @NYSDOCCS quietly issued new rules around packages, drastically limiting the quality and access to basic necessities incarcerated people can receive in April, we immediately began mobilizing our family members to send thousands of postcards to @GovKathyHochul!
So I guess we let our loved ones get beat and walk around with a Broken jaw with the bone pushing up into the ear canal and no medical attention @FL_Corrections@jenn_bradley@senpizzo@JeffreyBrandes we have to do better then this inexcusable!
Most prison environments pose significant challenges for incarcerated individuals to develop motivation to make positive changes. Wider problems within the prison system mean prisoners rarely receive
effective rehabilitation while detained.
Everytime I hear ‘inmate’ I see the faces of the racist prison guards who were trained to use the term to dehumanize us & make it easier for them to shoot us, hit us with batons & throw us in literal cages. Next time you think about using ‘inmate’, ask yourself, are you THAT cop?
Don’t let the small-minded perspective of others around you become your limitation. Believe in your life what David believed in his life: “The Lord is on my side.""
