From artist to creator to founder.

It took a while to get here. As a little girl, the first makeup product I ever touched was my mom’s lipstick. I’d smear it all over my face with excitement, never realizing how far it would one day take me.

My journey in the beauty world officially started when I attended M.U.D. beauty school in Soho after high school. While it didn’t seem like a big deal then, it was the entry point of a career that would change my life.

My first beauty job was at Sephora, where I learned the artistry of working on others. From there, my time at MAC pushed me to a new level and gave me the confidence to freelance. At the same time, I was steadily building my community here. Back in 2011, many people had never even heard about this platform, let alone used it. I went from posting collage photos of my makeup looks to getting discovered by beauty brands and landing on PR lists.

The beauty industry expanded on this very platform, which gave me opportunities one can only dream of. I’ve had the privilege to collaborate and create makeup products with some of the biggest brands, which were carried by the biggest retailers in the world and sold out worldwide. Those same opportunities have led me to a moment like this. But more importantly, the community I’ve built on here is what has made my dreams come true.

This brand is 2.5 years in the making, rooted in everything I know and love about beauty. I’ve poured myself into every detail, and I can’t wait for you to experience the formulas and shades I’ve created. @amrezybrand
