«در ستایش اعتراض»؛ پرسش سازندگی درباره سکوت در برابر جنگ و تحریم

🔹 روزنامه سازندگی در شماره امروز، اعتراض ایزابلا جاویدان و دیگر فعالان شورای ملی ایرانیان آمریکا (نایاک) در کنگره را به صفحه اول آورده است؛ اعتراضی به جنگ و تحریم‌های اقتصادی که با بازداشت معترضان همراه شد.
🔹 سعید مشهوری در یادداشت «در ستایش اعتراض» می‌پرسد: چرا در شرایطی که جنگ، تحریم، محدودیت‌های هوایی و دریایی و فشار اقتصادی بر زندگی مردم ایران اثر گذاشته، بخش‌های بیشتری از جامعه مدنی ایران صدای خود را بلند نمی‌کنند؟
🔹 تصویر صفحه اول، ایزابلا جاویدان، مدیر ارتباطات نایاک، را هنگام بازداشت در اعتراض به اسکات بسنت، وزیر خزانه‌داری آمریکا، نشان می‌دهد. ایزابلا و دیگر کارکنان و داوطلبان نایاک پیش‌تر نیز در برابر مقام‌های دولت ترامپ، از جمله پیت هگست، به ادامه جنگ و فشار اقتصادی بر مردم ایران اعتراض کرده‌اند.
🔹 پرسش سازندگی شایسته تأمل است: وقتی مردم ایران هزینه جنگ و تحریم را می‌پردازند، صدای مخالفت با این سیاست‌ها تا چه اندازه شنیده می‌شود؟

Ask yourself: Do these people ever hold the U.S. government or the Israeli government responsible when they drop bombs on Iranian schools, weddings and hospitals?

If they've done so, it was easy to miss. They campaigned for those bombs to fall in the hope that it would clear the way for their exiled "prince" to get ushered back into power.

We condemn the Iranian government for its rights violations repeatedly, including today. Yet the track record is clear that human rights in Iran worsened amid the pursuit of maximum pressure sanctions and now, with this disastrous war that we firmly oppose.

As Iranian Americans in the U.S., we focus our efforts where we have the most influence: over our own government's policy toward Iran. Now, with war grinding on for 6+ months and efforts to tighten the sanctions, including by choking off some of the last remaining humanitarian exemptions, we refuse to be silenced or slandered by those who think bombs are "help on the way."
