In a statement provided to PC Gamer following Gamescom, HoYoverse confirmed that Nodus Fall will not rely on a traditional gacha model.

Key monetization details:

• Free-to-Play structure

• All characters unlocked strictly through gameplay progression

• Monetization limited entirely to optional cosmetics and skins

A noticeable shift in strategy compared to Genshin Impact and their previous titles.

1. Good for him for getting out of that situation!! I have done 0 research into what happened with him and his mom but it sounds like he was being treated terribly. From the literal 4 or 5 comments I gleaned from the post I saw, he seems like a good chap as well.
