A great day of STEM today at Bellaire Elementary School. Students learned how helicopters, parachutes, and rockets work and got to make their own. Thanks Mr. Robert from the Science Smartcentre in Wheeling.

Our wonderful Kdg. students brought Christmas joy to the residents of the Carnes Senior Center. During their visit, they did caroling, crafts, and had lunch. Everyone had an amazing time.

Congratulations to Mrs. Tracie Hughes, a recipient of the McDonalds MacGrant worth $500. With this grant, the fifth grade students created keepsake family plates. The students also used the grant to bake homemade cookies to add to their plates. An awesome experience.
