25 INVESTIGATES: A 25 Investigates probe into the savage shootout on Memorial Drive in Cambridge has revealed that the suspect, Tyler Brown, was previously spared a decade-long prison sentence by a judge who now says she has “no memory” of the case.
NEW DETAILS: Court records show the suspect in the Cambridge shooting had reportedly relapsed and was recently released from a psychiatric hospital.
Although he previously had a conviction for shooting at officers, his parole officer allegedly knew he had access to a firearm.
Trooper Kevin Trainor, 30, was hit head on by a wrong-way driver in Lynnfield this morning, identified as Hernan Marrero, 50.
MassDOT tells Boston 25 wrong-way crashes have decreased in recent years in the state due to an ongoing initiative.
