Video Description: clip shows two men; the first shows a man walking on the pavement using his cane when he is hit in the face by a bush on the left side of the screen with the right side showing his perspective. The second clip shows another man using his cane walking alongside a clipped hedge.
Transcript:
This video shows what it's like to walk in a blind person's shoes and the danger of a seemingly harmless hedge. But it's only harmless if you can see it coming.
If your hedge or overgrown vegetation isn't cut back, the pavement can't be followed by a blind person using a white cane or the overhead danger may not be seen.
We love plants and wildlife as much as anyone, but please let us use our streets and pavements safely by cutting back your vegetation.
