Sound On 🔊⛈️
@arashi5official The storm sound for the ending credits of #Arashi5xInfinity occurred bc of a beautiful coincidence.
From our editor @steviedeviedoo ,
"It just so happened to be storming at my house on the last night of editing, and I couldn't resist recording it."
Hi @TelevisionAcad , according to your rules the main performers should be credited for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded). Ariana Grande & Cynthia Erivo were promoted as leads in all promo material and on your official ballot. Why are their names missing now?

“i want little boys or young men to go see this film and be like, ‘i want to be as strong as her. my sister is as cool as her.’ i want them to be able to see parts of themselves within the character, but also to see the strength within the women around them.”
oh milly ❤️🩹
Supergirl was a movie that feels like it’s for girls and women the same way Superman feels like it’s for boys and men.
Supergirl is at her lowest in the movie and the movie shows her going through a sort of coming of age moment that most humans go through in their lives where they find the things they want to do or need to do to. All in the name of love and family, in this case.
Supergirl may feel it’s not for you but there’s a lot of emotions at play in that movie, some very well placed jokes and a lot of HELL YEAH moments that I loved.
I could see the character arc building and you can see the changes as they happen. Supergirl was not a bad movie, to me it wasn’t a 10/10 but it’s a solid 8 or 9. The movie is fucking awesome! You can disagree but don’t try to discourage people from seeing a movie because it wasn’t for you.
Supergirl Movie Review
I honestly don’t get all the hate this movie is getting.
I went in hoping for a fun superhero movie and that’s exactly what I got. The action was awesome, the fight scenes were a lot of fun, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it.
Milly Alcock absolutely crushed it. As far as I’m concerned, she’s Supergirl now. I can’t wait to see her in the next one.
Was it perfect? No. But I had a great time, and that’s all I really wanted.
Popcorn Score: 🍿🍿🍿🍿 (4/5)
What did you think? Is this movie getting way too much hate?
Supergirl review:
>People are gonna double back on this film in a few years
>Went in expecting absolutely nothing
>Ended up being pleasantly surprised
>A genuinely enjoyable story from start to finish
>Better than the internet is giving it credit for
>Doesn't deserve the hate it's getting
I saw “Supergirl” in IMAX. It wasn’t a “superhero movie” about saving the Earth through self-sacrifice as “justice” confronts “evil.” It was a coming-of-age story about saving oneself, Kara, as she struggles with her own trauma. Structurally, it feels less like “Mad Max: Fury Road” (2015), where everyone is driven purely by survival instinct beyond notions of good and evil, and more like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), where heroes, villains, and scoundrels all converge.
