Be careful not to turn your process into law. Do not make your limitations seem like God's. HE is working with you in your mess. But it's important to note that your mess is just that. Yours. The love of God that you're perceiving is uniquely tailored for you. Thats just the way the Father is. You're loved as you are. His love is you-encompassing. For your design, for your purpose, and for your type and depth of old programming. Just tell your story as yours, and we will glorify Him for your sake. That's all that matters.

​"I paid $50 rent per month, and one Friday my rent was due. I was to pay it at 5:00 p.m. that day, and I didn't have a penny in my pocket. And the whole day I was praying, trusting God. I said, 'Lord, I need $50 before 5:00. I trust You. I trust You. I believe You are going to send someone.' I know $50 isn't much, but if you haven't got it, it's a lot.
​I tell you what happened: 5:00 came, but not the 50 bucks. I locked the office and I walked down. On my way home—we lived as a family with our three very small children just about half a mile from the office—I walked along the road. While I was walking on this public road, suddenly the Holy Spirit was there, and I heard clearly the voice of the Holy Spirit speak in my heart.
​He said to me, 'Do you want Me to give you $1 million?'
​I thought, 'Wow.' I asked for 50! And for seconds, it raced through my mind what I could do for Jesus with $1 million. Suddenly, a second thought crossed my mind. And you know, I'm not a weepy man at all; I am a tough old German. But I stood there on the public road, people passing me left and right, and tears were gushing out of my eyes. I didn't care. I threw up my arms and I cried to God.
​I said, 'No, Lord! I don't want $1 million. I'm asking for one million souls!' Hallelujah.
​It was the first time the word 'million' came to my mind. I was a poor little missionary in those days; I didn't know better. And then the Holy Spirit spoke back to me. He said words I'd never read, I'd never heard, and they have accompanied me my whole life. He said to me:
​'You will plunder hell to populate heaven for Calvary's sake.'

🚨‼️Most Christians can tell you all about Rome, Greece, Babylon, and the revived Roman Empire, but say “Africa in the Bible” and suddenly they act like Scripture goes silent. It does not go silent. They do. The problem is not with the Book. The problem is with readers who have skimmed right past what God actually wrote.

Africa is not a footnote in the word of God. Egypt stands in the center of redemptive history. Ethiopia is named. Cush is named. Libya and Put are named. Simon of Cyrene is in the Gospel record. The Ethiopian eunuch is in Acts. An Ethiopian rescued Jeremiah when other men left him to sink. God did not accidentally leave all that in the text.

What happened is simple. The modern church got lazy, and when truth gets neglected, lies move in to rent the house. So now you have one crowd ignoring Africa in Scripture, and another crowd hijacking Africa in Scripture for myths, pride, and false teaching. One side erases what God said. The other side corrupts what God said. Both are wrong because neither side is satisfied with the Bible as it stands.

The truth is stronger than both errors. Africa matters because God said so. And once a Christian sees that clearly, he can no longer read his Bible the same way, preach the same way, or look at suffering believers in Africa today with the same cold, detached heart.

The more you grow in the Word, the more your metrics change.
What once impressed you begins to lose its weight.

“Angelic encounters.”
“Visiting heaven.”

You begin to realise these are not the hallmarks of growth.
They are not the proof of maturity.

And those who parade them often exaggerate what they have not accurately understood.

You are not trying to visit heaven.
You are already seated there.

Not visiting.

Seated.

In Christ. Far above all.
So what exactly are we celebrating when maturity is reduced to “I went to heaven” or “I saw an angel”?

So what is the big deal if you “visit” where you are already seated in Christ?
Or if you “see” one out of the innumerable company of angels in Zion?

The believer is not a visitor in the spirit.
The believer is established in Christ.

Angels are not your superiors.
They are ministering spirits.
The more you grow, the less noise you make about these things.

Because maturity is not measured by sightings.
It is revealed in your understanding of Christ.

Christ is the point.

And in Him, you have already arrived.

And if indeed you did, handle it with maturity.

Like Paul, speak of it years later.
“I knew a man…”
Restrain your tongue.
Because many of the things being loudly brandished today are not lawful for a man to utter.

So hear this clearly:
There is nothing wrong with you if you have never “visited heaven” or seen angels.

Being is Christ is the point...

Some Years ago I wanted to resign as General Overseer - Pastor E.A Adeboye

I felt I was laboring in prayers and fasting for them, but they didn’t care, so I decided that I was going to resign as the General Overseer of the Church. With my decision made, I took a nap and when I woke, there was a young girl who had come to see me. She said God told her to come and give me a cake. I was so touched by the gesture that even though I don’t like cake so much, I ate that one. Then God said “I thought you said no one cared”. I realized that I had paid so much attention to appreciation from the people that I did not remember how much God cares for and loves me.
Now, when as a believer you are feeling depressed, what you need is to go deep into the presence of God because Psalm 16:11 says:
“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
You cannot be engulfed in the presence of God and not feel His love and care for you; that love you feel will bring joy to your soul.

Why was David called a man after God’s own heart?

Think about this.
David slept with his friend’s wife,
got her pregnant,
arranged for that friend to be killed in battle,
and then took the woman as his own wife.

When the prophet Nathan confronted him, David’s sin was completely exposed.
Yet David prayed one prayer that revealed his heart.

In Psalm 51, David cried:
"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me."

David didn’t try to defend himself.
He didn’t blame anyone.
He didn’t try to perform religious rituals to fix it.
He came broken. Humble. Repentant.

That is why God still called him a man after His own heart.

God is not impressed by religious activity.
God is looking at the condition of the heart.
David fell badly.
But David returned to God.

So many people need spirtual enablement and medical intervention. We all need to reach out. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
We can be goers (on the mission field), groaners (praying daily for the missions), or givers (support financially). We can be all from time to time.

This is my childhood friend, Pastor Segun, though a graduate, he “volunteered to be poor” as a Missionary so the villagers can hear the saving gospel.

His wife is currently in Nursing school with two kids, why, so she can learn basic medical skills that will be useful to the villagers as part of the recurring outreaches.

I was with him last year April, he is ever rejoicing and joyfully carrying his cross, trusting God for monthly provision of his needs and that of his ministry; for more than 15yrs, he is constantly grateful for being found worthy by God to be entrusted with such responsibility!

When the Lord impressed on my heart the need for The Alabastar Box Missionary Foundation @alabasterboxmi , one of the first thing I did was to share the vision with my ministry Partner. She was so excited because the Lord has been impressing the same thing to her and she has been meaning to discuss it with me.

The Church don’t longer support Missionaries and mission works like before. The call to be a Missionary does not need to always be associated with poverty nor a life of loneliness in remote places. They deserve all the support and encouragement possible from fellow Believers.

@alabasterboxmi is a mission trust-fund ministry where we hope to raise resources for Missionaries all over the world to aid their ministry. We launched the ministry a week ago at the Mission Conference and Village outreach at Oke Odo village. Over a hundred students from about six higher institutions attended for 3 days where they were inspired about missions and were able to get involved in reaching out to the villagers with the gospel.

If you feel the Lord is calling you to be a Missionary, you are being called to a great work!
