"We regularly say rabbits are the most abandoned, most neglected, most ill-treated..."

One of the most commonly misunderstood and under treated issues with rabbits is GI stasis, a serious symptomatic condition that will lead to death if not treated.
EVERY rabbit owner needs to be fully aware of symptoms and actions - it could save your rabbits life. Please share!

Rabbits are selective eaters, meaning they will eat their favourite (sugary) foods first and leave the healthiest parts behind. This is why muesli mix is not healthy for rabbits!
Β
To prevent selective eating, their diet should be 85% feeding hay, 10% greens, and just 5% pellets.
One of the most important tasks as a rabbit owner is ensuring your rabbits are vaccinated against 2 of the biggest killers in pet rabbits: Myoxmatosis and Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease.
