@PolymarketBlitz In comedy, no person and no disease is safe. There’s somebody somewhere with hurt feelings for any joke that’s ever been told.
But their goal is laughter. And if you’re not in the mood to laugh and you’re easily offended—don’t watch Druski.
On Memorial Day, we pay tribute to the brave men and women in uniform who gave their lives for this country that we love. It is a debt we can never fully repay, but we must never stop trying. I’ll always be grateful to our fallen heroes and their families, whose sacrifice reminds us of what it means to live for something greater than ourselves.
Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.
@DianaSalam13 They have done this for Drake, too. It’s a smart lawsuit. When it is to his advantage, he says nothing. When it is not, UMG has the option to say “we do this all the time, or take the hit and admit to this time only.” Drake and his lawyers know this.
😳😯 UPDATE!! A Black couple just won their discrimination lawsuit! They had their home appraised & it was worth $995K. They had their white friends get it appraised while hiding their family pictures & everything.. the value went up to $1.5M!
@elonmusk If the goal is transparency to build trust, why not just release everything without filter and let people judge for themselves? Including all discussions around current and future actions? Make everything public now. #TwitterFiles
