An introduction and my experience of golf so far.
A thread:
36 hole comp done today and I am absolutely DONE!
The thought of hitting another golf ball or even walking makes me sick ๐
Always had an issue with yardages between 100-130. 130 is a wedge for me and I used to be able to hit my gap wedge around 110, however recently Iโve struggled getting my gap further than 80/90.
Just looked online and my Pw is 44 deg and my gw is 52.
No wonder Iโm struggling!!

Decided to play the course thatโs close to my house yesterday evening. As you can see itโs not the longest, but it made a nice change from the carnage that Crondon can create.
I didnโt hit driver once, short game was electric and the putter was on flames!
Itโs nice to go low!

Another good 9 holes played this evening, well 11 actually.
Had 3 doubles annoyingly, mainly due to my tee shots, however I struck everything else really solid.
By trying to turn through the ball more and trying to compress it, my club face is so much squarer!
