@LesTwigg I think stinkhorns are a delicacy in France, at least the 'eggs' they grow from, rather them than me. Always wondered if badgers eat mushrooms.
It's like a mini autumn in our local woods at the moment, panthercap, stinkhorn and 2 I need to look up. Makes me SO happy foraging in the undergrowth for mushrooms, covered in mud and spider webs and twigs in my hair like Radagastππ
@aquasulis1998 I've been in contact with the Badger Trust, not sure they can do much until the police respond. I kind of assumed they would inform the Leicestershire group, I must contact them directly.
@CravenBadgers Yeah they know, I've had posters up telling them the police are investigating, and the Badger Trust and others are aware. I really don't understand their motives.
The sett is definitely still active, got pics of 2 badgers right next to it, and a week or so pics of the guy responsible looking at the sett. Not incriminating pics but contacted the police earlier.
@BeidaiheBirder Yes I've been told to leave it, wildlife officer was coming Monday anyway but now hopefully tomorrow. Bloody horrible feeling leaving it like that.
