We are now in Somalia for our 152nd STEM Center!

On November 3rd, we were in Liberia for our 150th STEM Center, then to the Central African Republic for our 151st, and now Somalia marks 152.

Here is #Amputate, an assistance robot fabricated by one of our trainees in Ethiopia for people with amputated arms.

But 80% of that went to just four countries; Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, and South Africa.

So where does that leave the rest of the continent?

There’s an urgent need to decentralize investment, to channel capital toward rural innovators, female-led enterprises, and startups in frontier regions.

Africa’s next unicorn may not emerge from Lagos or Nairobi.
It could rise from Bamenda, Addis Ababa or, it could be you.

I’m so fascinated by technology: some countries are investing in technology. There’s an innovation every second!

But, each time I come across something groundbreaking, I pause and wonder:
