@JtMclure@EastMidRailway@TLRailUK Easy for you to say, I’ve been up since 4am and just want to get home after a long day in work. This is too much of a regular occurrence for these incompetent companies.
@EastMidRailway once again the train to Corby on Platform 1 has been cancelled. 1) the “train manager” was late getting in on another service. 2) when that service did arrive he put on a “do not contact” message so you’ve cancelled the service, forcing us all to run over to P4 😡
@EastMidRailway Now you’re telling us there’s a fault on the Corby train. None of these lies of excuses would be delaying Thameslink services too. Sort yourselves out.
@EastMidRailway Your app says problems with the train, half the announcements at St Pancras say it’s “trespassers” and the other half say “the cause of the delay is being investigated”. It’s an absolute joke.
@EastMidRailway what’s going on with the Corby service this evening then? 6:17pm going to be half an hour late leaving (and it’s only 4 carriages at that). Why?

Having spent the last 8 months commuting to London from Bedford with somewhat mixed feelings, I’ve decided to diarise the chaos @EastMidRailway and @TLRailUK cause the commuting public. To mix analogies: buckle up, it might be a bumpy ride.
@EastMidRailway I’m on the 18:17 from St Pancras to Corby. It’s 18:36 and we still haven’t departed. Only message from crew was “something” is being “looked at”.
Any clue?
Update: announcement we’re “only calling at Kettering. If you wish to travel beyond Kettering please go to Platform 3”. Zero mention of Luton Airport Parkeay, Luton, Bedford, Wellingborough… guess I’ll stay put and see where I end up 🤷♂️
