@RohanBhallaMD @VUMCPedsUrology Conveniently omitted that you were picking up your own dry cleaning at the same place and since we are a TEAM you offered to grab mine too. And since we are a TEAM, a coffee on Monday would be great! It’s been a privilege to work with the @VUMCurology residents!
How sweet is the satisfaction when you teach someone to tie a knot for the first time?! Even sweeter when he runs up to you a few minutes later and says “Dad, I did both shoes myself and even double knotted them!”
@notoriousGNV Totally agree. Another read that I’ve been seeing more often is the “swirl sign”. Some evidence of the cord twisting, history of some pain, but totally normal testicle and flow.
My son is DJ’ing in the car…“Sam, great music choices! What are you playing?”… “I don’t know, I searched for Dad Music.”
Way to know your audience, Sam!
Great playlist by the way.

@JoeSilletti There is a service called Federation Credentials Verification Service through Federation of State Medical Boards but it’s expensive to enroll, charges per distribution, and doesn’t work as well for credentialing as it does for state medical board apps
PSA to anyone who is ever going to need credentials at a hospital: Keep a secure file with med school diploma, NBME score reports, training program verification letters/certificates, malpractice coverage proof, state license verifications, DEA #'s etc...you'll thank me later
@lilppmd Thanks Dr. Jayanthi--great point! I came to terms with this on day 1 of fellowship...training is all about learning the tools to answer questions, NOT learning all the answers.
Started the season with high hopes for my hometown (@Browns), current hometown (@Titans) and future hometown (@AZCardinals). I had fantasies of a “win-win” super bowl. Well, so much for that. @JenniferAbelson your approach to football leads to so much less heartbreak 💔
Hot take: spouses should get their own call pay.
My wife has to work 2-3x as hard on nights/weekends when I’m not around to help.
Spouses really are the unsung heroes of #medicine. ❤️😌
@pedsurologist@JuddMoul@LiMingSu1 Yes! A few weeks ago I was trying to get a stitch deep in the pelvis and I felt the presence of @EricKleinMD across the table from me. Never will do an open RRP in peds but techniques are absolutely applicable.
